Singulo: My journey developing software actually started with Hammer maps. I loved creating new levels to experience in Half-Life 2. I discovered the logical entities that you can use to script unique behavior. From there, I learned about game engines and programming in general. I discovered NeoCities in 2024 and fell in love with the creativity of the community. It reinvigorated my curiosity and exploration that I remembered seeing as a kid on the old web back in 2002-2008.

I was inspired by what I saw to create my own little space of the internet that I could use to share my thoughts, interests, and projects with everyone in a format that I wanted, rather than how a company decides how all webpages should look.

At my work, I'm not the one writing content or deciding on how the page will look. I fix bugs and implement new features already discussed with everything laid out for me already. This website gives me a chance explore other parts of development that I don't normally do!
